[ BEYOND THE BUILD ]

Need more than a website ?

Some things are bigger than a website. We build those too — priced separately, and they change what it takes to look after your site each month.

Claude connector
from $4,500 · Care +$299/mo

New: Claude connector. We build and host a secure MCP connector, then submit it to Anthropic for directory review — giving Claude users a new way to discover and use what your business offers. Anthropic decides which submissions are listed, so directory acceptance is not guaranteed.

One fixed price before any work begins. We'll scope it with you in one call, then give you a price that doesn't change.

Before we quote a custom build, we'll always check whether an existing tool can do the job — most of the time one can, and we'll set it up as part of your site at no extra cost.

[ COMPARISON ]

A different way to own a business website

The difference is not the craft. It is who carries the work after launch, and how you get billed for it.

How SiteMonk compares with a traditional agency, a freelancer, and a DIY website builder

One fixed price to build your website. Then a monthly Care plan keeps it hosted, secure, and current, with a visible budget for changes.

[ OUR COMMITMENT ]

Reasonable, in both directions.

We will not promise you more customers — that depends on your market, your offer, and your prices. Here is what we can actually control, and what we ask of you.

WHAT WE COMMIT TO:

✓ We do not launch until you approve the design direction.
✓ No long-term contract. Cancel any time; billing stops at the end of the month.
✓ Your domain stays registered in your name, for as long as you own it.
✓ If we ever end the relationship, you keep the full source code of your site.

WHAT WE ASK IN RETURN:

Requests are scoped against your monthly budget, not against an unlimited promise.
We do not guarantee a 24-hour turnaround. We work in the order things arrive, and we tell you where you stand.
If a request is far outside what the plan was built for, we will say so and propose how to phase it.
If we ever part ways
You keep the site

Whoever ends the relationship, and for whatever reason, we hand over the full source code of your website.

You are staying because the service is worth it, not because leaving is expensive.

[ FAQ ]

Before you decide

The things people actually ask before they sign up.

What does the $4,999 actually cover?

Everything from the first conversation to the day you go live: scoping, planning, design, copy structure, development, mobile, testing, revisions, and launch. It is one price for a finished website, not a deposit against an open-ended project.

What counts as reasonable?

Anything a business website of your kind would normally need. We agree on scope together before starting — a local trades business and a multi-category online catalog are not the same project, and we will say so plainly rather than discovering it halfway through.

How does the monthly budget work?

Each plan includes a monthly work budget — Care is the base, and the larger plans are multiples of it. You can see the remaining balance at any time. Requests are drawn against it, so "is this included?" becomes a number you can check instead of a negotiation.

What happens when I run out of budget?

New requests join a queue and start on your next cycle. Nothing is refused and nothing is silently dropped — you can see where things stand. If something is urgent, tell us and we will re-order the queue with you. The other direction is also worth knowing: budget you don't use in a month resets with the next one rather than piling up.

How does payment work?

The build is paid in two parts: 50% to start, and the remaining 50% once you approve the finished site, before it goes live. We accept credit card (via Stripe), Interac e-Transfer (Canada), Zelle (USA), and wire transfer (international). The monthly plan is a Stripe subscription, billed monthly from the day your site goes live, so there is nothing to remember each month.

Do you guarantee how fast changes get done?

No, and we would rather say so than promise a turnaround we cannot keep. We work through requests in order and keep you informed. What we do commit to is that the work happens and that you can see its status.

What if I ask for something really big?

We split it into phases across months and show you the plan before starting, rather than letting one large request block everything else. In rare cases where a request is far outside what the plan is for, we will say so and propose a separate scope.

What do I need to provide?

Your business information, your logo and any materials you already have, and feedback when we ask for it. No brief, no spec, no technical preparation.

What if I already have a website?

That is the most common case. We rebuild it on our own foundation, carry over the content worth keeping, and redirect the old URLs so you do not lose the search visibility you already have.

Do I own my domain?

Yes. Your domain stays registered in your name and you keep control of it whether or not you stay with us.

Can I get my deposit back?

Until work begins, you can request a full refund of your deposit yourself from your client portal. Once work has started — you will see it in your portal — the deposit is no longer refundable in full. You can still cancel the order, and we refund the deposit minus the cost of the work already done, which you can see itemised in your portal.

What happens if I cancel?

Cancel any time; billing stops at the end of the current month. Your domain and content are yours, and we hand over the full source code of your site.

Is hosting included?

Yes. Hosting, SSL, backups, and security monitoring are part of every plan. There is no separate hosting bill and no traffic surprise at the end of the month.

Do you handle SEO?

We handle the technical foundation: clean markup, fast pages, sensible structure, stable URLs. That is what stops a site from holding you back. Ongoing content and local search campaigns are separate work, and we will tell you honestly when you need them.
